Introduction
Monitoring Management will help you to manage our monitoring services to your webpages. To use our monitoring service, first you should add your webpage with a subscription plan. Each webpage should have a URL, assigned user(s), and subscription applied. There are several subscription plan options, you can choose the one that best suits your needs.
After your webpages are registered, you still can edit the webpage details include URL, assigned user(s), and subscription plan. However, any change in the subscription plan will be applied in the next following month, not the ongoing month.
Although we don't recommend it, you can also remove a webpage from our monitoring services. Once removed, it is not guaranteed that your webpage is safe from defacement activity. Therefore, make sure you understand the risks before making this decision.
Add a Webpage
You can follow these steps to add a webpage:
- In the Dashboard, click on "Monitoring Management" and select "Webpages" submenu.
- Click on the "Subscribe" button.
- In the Webpage Subscription section, fill the webpage URL and choose your subscription plan for this webpage.
- In the Settings section, fill the "Web Admin" and/or "Additional Alert Recipient" field(s) with the user(s) to be assigned.
- If you plan to subscribe more than one webpage, please click on "Add More" and do repeat the procedure.
- Review all data entered and click "Submit". You will be asked to proceed with a payment method.
- After completing the payment, your webpage(s) will be added to the webpage list.
Edit Webpage Details
You can follow these steps to edit webpage details:
- In the Dashboard, click on "Monitoring Management" and select "Webpages" submenu. You will find a list of webpages on this page.
- Click on a webpage to view the webpage details.
- In the Webpage Subscription section, edit your webpage URL as needed.
- Change Capture Interval
- Click on "Save" and the webpage now has been updated.
Delete a Webpage
You can follow these steps to remove a webpage from our Monitoring List:
- In the Dashboard, click on "Monitoring Management" and select "Webpages" submenu. You will find a list of webpages on this page.
- Click on a webpage to view the webpage details.
- Click on "Unsubscribe" and confirm your decision.
Blackout
Blackout shall help us to pause the activity of monitoring a webpage. Users are recommended to blackout the webpage(s) when there is a content change period or maintenance so that those changes do not trigger SentryPage. There are 2 ways to blackout. Users can do the following action to blackout their monitored webpage(s).
- Select Blackout option on the triple dot in the row of the respective webpage URL
- Checklist the respective webpage URLs on the left of the listing table and clicking on the Blackout button above the table
Change History
- Select the view change history option on the triple dot in the row of the respective webpage URL
- View for all changes that happened to the respective webpage URL
