Introduction
Users can access dashboard to view summarized information of current cloud spend, monthly usage per environment, total monthly usage and highest product usage based on CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP).
View Dashboard
Follow these steps to view Cost Analytics Dashboard.
1. After logging in to Nimbus Stream, click on the Cost Analytics service.
2. On the Sidebar, you will find Dashboard However, by default you will landed on the Dashboard page after clicking on the Cost Analytics service, as shown below.
3. When landed, the System will display the Default Dashboard, but you can change it to your need. Click on the Select Dashboard dropdown at the right of your screen to select which Dashboard to display.
View Dashboard Listing
You can view all the created Dashboards in the Dashboard Listing page. Follow these steps to view the Dashboard Listing page.
Follow these steps to view Cost Analytics Dashboard.
1. After logging in to Nimbus Stream, click on the Cost Analytics service.
2. On the Sidebar, you will find Dashboard However, by default you will landed on the Dashboard page after clicking on the Cost Analytics service, as shown below.
3. Click on the Select Dashboard dropdown at the right of your screen and select View All Dashboards option.
4. You will be redirected to the Dashboard Listing Here you can view the complete list of the created Dashboards. Clicking on the Eye icon button allows you to view the Dashboard.
Create Dashboard
Follow these steps to create a new customised dashboard.
1. After logging in to Nimbus Stream, click on the Cost Analytics service.
2. On the Sidebar, you will find Dashboard However, by default you will landed on the Dashboard page after clicking on the Cost Analytics service, as shown below.
3. Click on the Create Dashboard button.
4. You will be redirected to Create Dashboard Here you need to enter the Dashboard name and description on their respective field. It will help you later when selecting a Dashboard to display. You can also create the new Dashboard from the previously created Dashboard by selecting on the Start From field. Where not needed, let this field empty. Click on the Create button after all have been set.
5. You will be redirected to Dashboard Listing page and get green-colored notification that the dashboard has been successfully created. The new dashboard now can be found in the listing.
6. If you create a dashboard from the scratch, you will find no widget on the dashboard as shown below. Therefore, you need to create widget. Please refer to the Create Widget section.
Set Default Dashboard
Default Dashboard will be the auto-displayed Dashboard each time you lands on the Dashboard, even after viewing another Dashboard. Follow these steps to set your Default Dashboard.
1. After logging in to Nimbus Stream, click on the Cost Analytics service.
2. On the Sidebar, you will find Dashboard However, by default you will landed on the Dashboard page after clicking on the Cost Analytics service, as shown below.
3. Click on the More button then select Set Dashboard as Default option.
4. On the following confirmation dialog, click on the Ok button to confirm your change.
5. After it is been set, the Default Dashboard will be marked with a label (Default) after its name on the Select Dashboard dropdown.
Edit Dashboard
You can edit a Dashboard name and description where necessary. Follow these steps to edit a Dashboard.
1. After logging in to Nimbus Stream, click on the Cost Analytics service.
2. On the Sidebar, you will find Dashboard However, by default you will landed on the Dashboard page after clicking on the Cost Analytics service, as shown below.
3. Click on the Edit Dashboard button.
4. The Dashboard name and description field will appear above the Dashboard. Edit these field to your need then click on the Save Changes button.
5. If success, you will get green-colored notification that the dashboard has been successfully updated.
Delete Dashboard
Follow these steps to delete a Dashboard.
1. After logging in to Nimbus Stream, click on the Cost Analytics service.
2. On the Sidebar, you will find Dashboard However, by default you will landed on the Dashboard page after clicking on the Cost Analytics service, as shown below.
3. To delete the current dashboard, you can click on the More button then select Delete Dashboard option.
4. To delete another Dashboard, click on the Select Dashboard dropdown at the right of your screen and select View All Dashboards option.
5. You will be redirected to the Dashboard Listing Here you can view the complete list of the created Dashboards. Clicking on the Trash icon button allows you to delete a Dashboard.
6. On the following confirmation dialog, click on the Ok button to confirm the deletion.
