Glossary

Nimbus Stream can contains several terms that the Users shall be familiar to. Please refer to the table below for the description of each term.

Term	Description
Cloud	A technology that helped us transcend the limitations of using a physical device to share and opened a whole new dimension of the internet.
CSP (Cloud Service Provider)	Companies that offer network services, infrastructure, or business applications in the cloud, such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, and GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
Dashboard	An information management tool that track, analyze, and display metrics in form of widgets.
Widget	A visual display of a certain data. It can be visualized in form of chart or indicator.
Granularity	The scale or level of detail present in a set of data (e.g. time)
Microsoft Authenticator	Mobile application to help you sign in to your accounts when you're using two-factor verification.
On-Demand Cost	Cost that you pay for only the compute time you use. No upfront costs or minimum contracts apply.
Reserved Instance (RI) Cost	Cost that shows the sum of both the upfront and hourly rate of the reserved instance, averaged into an effective hourly rate.
Savings Plan (SP) Cost	Cost that shows the proportion of the Savings Plan monthly commitment amount (upfront and recurring) that is allocated to each usage line.
Tenant	Tenant represents an organization, a group that holds your account. Normally, one subscription account will have one tenant.
