Login
Every time you start using Nimbus Stream, you need to log in to your account. These steps allow you to log in to Nimbus Stream.
1. On your web browser, go to Nimbus Stream login page.
2. Click on the Sign In button.
3. You will be redirected to the Microsoft account login page. Enter your Xtremax email and click on the Next button.
4. Enter your Xtremax password and click on the Sign In button.
5. You may be asked to approve your login request. If so, approve it through Microsoft Authenticator on your phone.
6. Upon successful login, you will be redirected to the Nimbus Stream landing page.
Switch Tenant
A user may have more than one tenant in their account. You can easily switch between tenants by the following steps.
1. From anywhere in Nimbus Stream, click on your account name in the upper right corner.
2. Choose a tenant that you want to use.
3. After choosing a tenant, now the Nimbus Stream services will only display all the information within the selected tenant.
Navigation
Once logged in, you can navigate through our services in several ways.
a. Directly choose a service card on the landing page. The sub-services will appear later based on your choice.
b. Click on the Services menu in the upper left corner. A list of services and sub-services will appear, and you can quickly jump to them.
c. Click on the Nimbus Stream icon from anywhere will take you back to the landing page.
Quick & Advanced Search
When you work with data listing, Nimbus Stream provides you with the search function. It allows you to find particular data by entering a keyword. You can choose between Quick Search and Advanced Search as the following.
Quick Search
Follow these steps to use Quick Search.
1. Enter the keyword in the available search field. Below is an example of the AWS Resource Optimization page.
2. Click on the Magnifier icon to search the data based on the inputted information.
3. The listing will then display only the data related to your query.
Note: If there is no data match to your query, the result will show Data Empty. |
Advanced Search
Follow these steps to use Advanced Search.
1. Click on the Hamburger menu beside the search field. Below is an example of the AWS Resource Optimization page.
2. Now you can adjust your query by the available filters as to your need. It helps you slice the data by AWS Billing Account, Account ID, Instance ID, Recommendation, Tag(s), CPU, Monthly Estimated Savings, and Region. After entering a keyword in the search field, you can modify the filters and click on the Search button to perform your query.
3. The search result will appear in the table below the filters.
Note: If there is no data match to your query, the result will show Data Empty. |
Data Sorting
Nimbus Stream also provides you with the sort function to make it easier to work with data listing. It allows you to arrange the data in your desired order. Follow these steps for more details.
1. On a certain listing table, click on the column title which will be used as the sorting criteria. Below is an example of the AWS Resource Optimization page. The first click will rearrange the data in ascending order (e.g. A to Z, smallest to largest).
2. The second click on the column title will reverse the data to descending order (e.g. Z to A, largest to smallest).
